Connexite Deal Qualifier — Free MEDDPPICC Sales Qualification Tool
The Connexite Deal Qualifier is a free, browser-based sales qualification tool for industrial cybersecurity and OT security sales professionals. It implements the MEDDPPICC qualification framework — the gold standard methodology used by enterprise B2B sales teams worldwide — to help sales representatives score any opportunity and receive an immediate recommendation on whether to pursue, requalify, or disqualify a deal.
How the tool works
Users enter a project or opportunity name and select the deal type: small deals under $50,000 use the simplified MED Grid with 8 criteria, while large deals above $50,000 use the full MEDDPPICC framework also across 8 criteria. Each criterion is scored from 0 to 2, with 0 meaning not yet identified, 1 meaning partially known, and 2 meaning fully confirmed. The tool calculates a total score in real time and maps it to one of four qualification bands: Highly Qualified (Commit stage), Moderately Qualified (Best Case), Weakly Qualified (Pipeline), or Not Qualified (Disqualify).
MEDDPPICC framework explained
MEDDPPICC stands for: Metrics — the quantifiable business outcomes the customer needs to achieve; Economic Buyer — the individual with budget authority and final purchase approval; Decision Criteria — the formal and informal factors used to evaluate and select a solution; Decision Process — the steps, stakeholders, and timeline involved in reaching a purchase decision; Paper Process — the procurement, legal, and contract processes required to finalise the deal; Pain — the core business problem and its quantified financial or operational impact; Champion — the internal advocate within the customer organisation who actively supports and sells on behalf of the vendor; Competition — the other vendors in the running and an understanding of competitive differentiation.
Management Judgement Override
In addition to the scored criteria, the tool includes a Management Judgement Override field allowing a sales manager or senior practitioner to apply a discretionary adjustment between −2 and +2 points, reflecting qualitative intelligence not captured by the scoring model — such as existing executive relationships, political dynamics within the prospect organisation, strategic account priority, or recent competitive intelligence. The final score is capped at the theoretical maximum of 16 points regardless of the override applied.
Red flag detection
For large deals using the full MEDDPPICC framework, the tool automatically detects critical red flags: any deal scored zero on Economic Buyer, Decision Process, or Champion is flagged as failing the minimum threshold for Best Case or Commit stage; any deal where Pain is fully scored at 2 but Metrics remain at 1 or below is flagged as a story without numbers — a common qualification gap that indicates the pain is described qualitatively but has not been quantified in terms of financial impact.

Qualification score bands
For small deals (MED Grid, maximum 16 points): scores of 16 indicate a high-priority lead to pursue aggressively; 11 to 15 indicate a deal worth pursuing with identified gaps to strengthen; 6 to 10 indicate a risky opportunity requiring requalification; 0 to 5 indicate a deal that should be disqualified or deprioritised. For large deals (MEDDPPICC Full, maximum 16 points): scores of 14 to 16 indicate a highly qualified opportunity suitable for Commit stage; 10 to 13 indicate moderate qualification suitable for Best Case; 6 to 9 indicate weak qualification at Pipeline stage; 0 to 5 indicate the deal is not qualified and should be disqualified.
